In the Balearic Islands, there is a small yet plenty of natural and touristic attractions called Menorca, which holds also a growing industry dedicated to the handcrafting of firearm recreations of all ages and styles. Kolser is one of the forerunners in this tradition, being founded in 1965 and mainly dedicated to the production of accurate American revolver and rifle replicas from the XIX century such the 45 caliber Colt or the Winchester carbine, which are an important part of the United States history and widely recognized not only for all firing weapon experts but for the public at large, considering for example the trademark Colt itself as another name to call a western gun.
All Far West revolvers produced by Kolser are made with chromed metal and embellished with wooden or faux marble parts, mainly on the grip, assembling their parts to make work a complex loading and firing simulated mechanism that resembles as much as possible to the original weapon, as well as the weight and measurements. We remind you all Kolser revolvers and handguns are replicas just made for decorative purposes and the barrel has been completely sealed to avoid any wrongful handling, although the cylinder can be filled with Kolser's bullet replicas included inside the case (detonators can be placed with hindsight), giving the impression of being a real fire weapon. As mentioned previously, all Kolser's products are displayed in a special collector case inspired in the wood boxed where these guns were stored at first, because it's not just about what you bought, but how it's presented to you, like any American Civil War weapon collector would love to receive this.
